"The Strength of a Father"Tips to be a Successful Father From a Homeschooling Father of Twelve
Being a dad, father and husband is an ever challenging job description in today's complex world.
Managing work and home responsibilities and trying to navigate the maze of home education
can be a daunting task. How does a father lead his family to raise the next generation of great adults who
are committed to Christ and well prepared to thrive in today's America? In particular, how does he balance the
stresses of daily life - ministry, family, job, friends and community - in such a way that his wife and children
will thrive as they reach ahead in life? And what does he do while home educating his children with his wife to
nurture his wife and protect and lead his children into an adulthood that will glorify God?
Paul Durocher's practical experience as a father of 12, author, business man, and ministry worker
will surely be strategically insightful for all of our dad's here at the Exploring Homeschooling monthly meeting on March 31st.
Come and find encouragement as Paul and Judy share practical insights in raising and educating Godly Christian Children in our ever challenging culture!
You will learn:
- Why dad's involvement is critical to success in education and spirituality,
- Three things you must do to be a successful Dad,
- Understand the husband and wife leadership team styles and how they help or hinder the education and growth process, and
- The most important things a father of 12 learned about raising children to seek after God as their own Lord and Savior.
